Stones

I love walking around graveyards. Today with my hubby we went to see the remains of an early Christian monastic settlement located in our county. The place is called Monasterboice and is very old, as far as I know, it was founded in the late 5th century. This is actually a tiny, a bit remote site with three high crosses, all of them thousand years old, and a round tower. I find the silence there strangely comforting.
